East Antrim Athletic & Cultural Society will endeavour to engage all relevant stakeholders in a process of negotiation to limit and maintain the number of Ulster Volunteer Force and Young Citizens Volunteer Flags in East Antrim to a fixed period of time during the Marching Season (school summer holidays).
Action Points

- We will engage with local marching bands to agree to a code of conduct for the carrying of Flags and Standards by their Colour Parties.
- We will observe the placement of Flags and Emblems in sensitive areas and consult representatives to engage in a process of dialogue to remove or relocate where appropriate.
- We will negotiate the removal of tattered and torn flags, including Union Flags & Ulster Flags, through a process of dialogue with all relevant stakeholders.
- We will monitor Flags and Emblems at murals to ensure that they are removed after an agreed fixed period.
- We will facilitate dialogue to negotiate the permanent removal of murals depicting armed men from the present conflict, excluding memorial murals, with a view to erecting Cultural Murals in their place. Ensuring the non-eradication of a Loyalist Culture
